Active Balance is currently searching for an acupuncturist to join our multidisciplinary clinic. Located in the heart of Nelson, BC, our clinic’s focus is client-centered, supports both injury maintenance and prevention, and a patient’s overall health and wellness. The clinic currently provides chiropractic care, massage therapy, and natropathy to a wide range of clientele, supports in house referrals from both services, and values the importance and connection to acupuncture.
The office currently utilizes front-office administration to support appointment scheduling, billing, and general office flow. Practitioners use Jane.app for EHR and online booking, experience using this platform is an asset but not required. The ideal candidate must hold a licensed registration and be in good standing with a regulatory body, with their own liability insurance.

Our clinic works closely with veterans and individuals with complex physical and nervous system presentations, and we are seeking a practitioner who is interested in working from a trauma-informed, client-centred perspective.
The ideal practitioner will:
Hold current registration as an Acupuncturist and/or TCM Practitioner
Have interest or experience working with veterans and trauma-exposed populations
Practice with a trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative lens
Be comfortable managing a clinical caseload
Complete required progress reports every 8 weeks in a clear and timely manner
Value interdisciplinary collaboration and communication

Locum Acupuncturist Opportunity – Acacia Health (Victoria, BC)
Acacia Health in Vic West is seeking a locum Registered Acupuncturist to provide coverage from February 2 to April 30, 2026, with the possibility of an earlier return in mid-April.
This is a well-established practice with a strong orthopedic and MSK focus, excellent patient continuity, and a supportive clinic environment.
The position is four days per week with shifts on;
Monday and Wednesday from 2:00–8:00 pm and
Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am–2:00 pm.
There is an opportunity to work one or two treatment rooms depending on experience and comfort level. Front desk support, laundry services, and fully equipped treatment rooms are provided. Patient transition will be supported, with optional shadowing prior to the locum start and ongoing availability for questions during the coverage period.
This opportunity is suitable for both new graduates and experienced practitioners.
