This course introduces advanced acupuncture theory and practices. It is continuation of the techniques explored in ACU113/114, combined with advanced information pertaining to Classical theory and modern development practices. This course focuses on the use and application of advanced acupuncture techniques, as well the acupuncture treatment plans and protocols. (Previously ACU521 Advanced Acupuncture and Addictions)

Prerequisites: ACU113/114, valid CTCMA Student Registration, 80 program credits or permission from the dean. Effective Summer 2022, 4.5 credits of CMCP200/300 will also be required.    Credits: 3    Hours: 45
