Clinical Supervised Practice: Community Clinic
CMCP102/200/300
Student practitioners perform all aspect of the treatment under the supervision of the instructor. These appointments are in a ‘community style’ clinic, meaning they all occur in the same large room (as opposed to private sessions in individual rooms). The student practitioners perform all aspects of the treatment.
CMCP102/200/300 counts towards CMCP102 program requirements for students who have not yet completed 3 credits of CMCP102. It counts towards CMCP200/300 program requirements for students who have already completed 3 credits of CMCP102 and who are thus at the independent clinic level.
*Students who have not met prerequisites can complete the last 3 credits of CMCP101 and ACU113/114 concurrent to taking this course.
Prerequisites: 9 credits CMCP101*, ACU113/114*, OM101/102. Students need to complete 3 credits of CMCP102 to be eligible for graduation. Only students who are still completing this amount are eligible to register for this clinic. Must have and maintain a current CTCMA student registration number. Must be enrolled in a diploma program within the School of ACM. *Students who have not met these prerequisites can complete the last 3 credits of CMCP101 and ACU113/114 concurrent to taking this clinic.
