This radical course provides a grounding in perspectives and strategies designed to equip students to significantly explore ways by & which the practice of herbal medicine can be strengthened and extended. Initial classes will survey the contemporary landscape in herbalism; locate current limitations, creativity and opportunities; and apply critical thinking & and change-leadership models. After establishing a conceptual base and putting in place guiding ideas and principles, the course will move to a workshop-based format developing student-lead themes using Rogerian educational guidelines. The course will culminate with students sharing their visions and learning. The course is open to, and welcomes, students of every tradition of herbal medicine.
