Flower Essences
WHS106
Flower essences are the energetic essence or imprint of a plant’s flower retained in water. Their healing vibrational energy can be used to interface with our own subtle energy bodies and centres to realign our emotional, mental, and spiritual selves.
This course explores what flower essences are, the history and philosophy of flower essences, the doctrine of signatures, how to make an essence, and how to select an essence for yourself and others (through kinesiology, dowsing, questionnaires, repertorizing, etc.). Several common flower essence portraits/monographs are covered throughout the course as time permits.
Students should be prepared for hands-on practice of choosing essences through various methods, meditations with plants and flower essences, as well as field trips to local spots off campus.
