Over a five-week period, students develop a greater sense of confidence regarding what Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI’s) are, how they affect individuals short and long-term, and how to best work with those that have either been diagnosed or are suspecting of a TBI. Review the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system, explore the pathophysiology of Traumatic Brain Injuries learn to best support a client/patient at various stages throughout the healing process.
