History of Chinese Medicine

This course explores the roots of Chinese Medicine through a survey of the dynasties, philosophies, and historical events that have shaped the many facets of medical knowledge and practice in the Middle Kingdom. The intent of this course is to inform and remind modern practitioners of the vast history in which we all participate and to bring a greater understanding of the context from which this complex and ever-changing medicine comes.
