Nutritional Benefit of Wild Plants


This course explores the nutritional benefits and culinary uses of wild plants. Though the course is focused on local wild flora, many of the plants we cover can be found around North America, and the techniques taught can be applied to wild plants around the world.

This couse has hands-on learning, as well as discourse surrounding the regulations, sustainability, ethics, safety, and practicalities of harvesting wild plants for personal use, community use, and potential clients.
