Students gain an understanding of the nutritional benefits of common wild foods over an annual season. Practical hands-on applications specific for harvesting and preparing each plant are explored, including sustainable harvesting techniques, safety concerns, and recipes. Additionally, the benefits of harvesting wild food for communities and individual clients are explored.
