Ashley Gillies is a Community Psychologist, Somatic, Earth-based Therapist and Deep Democracy Facilitator. She loves people and has a lifelong passion for bringing the marginal into the center and deepening justice, understanding and belonging. Her background of praxis includes anti-oppression work, participatory dialogue, grief ritual, sacred clowning, focusing-oriented therapy, community farming, psycho-spiritual nature connection and education. Ashley is a white settler of Scottish/English/Irish descent currently living on Lekwungen territory. She has a private counselling practice focused on assisting people process grief, transitions, relationship struggles and finding soul purpose through deep mythology and dream work, body awareness practices and nature-based approaches to healing and transformation. She also collaboratively hosts dialogues and trainings on various issues of systemic oppression, and facilitates meetings and retreats for organizations focused on relationship building, conflict engagement, rank dynamics analysis and deep visioning.
