Nicole was born in Calgary and raised in Cochrane, Alberta. Her interests in natural forms of healing began when she was sixteen, where during a 10-day meditation retreat she developed an appreciation for the power of the mind and the beneficial effects of wholefoods. Wanting to pursue her interests in health and healing, Nicole moved to Victoria in 2007, and studied General Health and Sciences at Camosun College for 2 years before deciding to focus on holistic medicine. She enrolled in the Phytotherapy Diploma program at Pacific Rim College, graduating with the highest of honours in 2012.
Since 2012, Nicole has enjoyed furthering her experience in the healthcare field as a Community Support Worker. Through assisting clients that have developmental disabilities, she has learned how important community is for general health and happiness. Nicole is excited to incorporate her education and love for people, health, and community through her work in Admissions/Administration at Pacific Rim College.
