Acupuncture and Addiction
with Ted van Hemert, June 3-4, 2023

Workshop Information
This seminar is focused on the use of acupuncture within the complex view and treatment of addiction. We will attempt to understand addiction first through a Western contemporary lens, exploring especially a biopsychosocial, strength-based approach. With this framework, we will then broaden our understanding with an eastern philosophy and explore TCM patterns and treatment protocols and strategies. We will take a deep dive into auricular acupuncture and learn how to compliment the powerful and commonly used 5-Needle Protocol.
