Animal Systems in Permaculture Design
with Jessi Bloom, June 8-9, 2019
Join Jessi Bloom, award-winning ecological designer, best selling author, and founder of NW Bloom Ecological Services for a weekend of learning about animal systems using permaculture design. Jessi will cover a variety of topics needed for designing systems that incorporate animals – from home scale to larger operations – from the large patterns to details. Discussions will include everything needed to create a closed loops system, the inputs needed to the yields offered from the smallest micro livestock such as worms and pollinators to large hoofed animals, and even domestic pets. The course will include working on unique design scenarios and finding humane animal product niches. Jessi will include case studies and current projects she is working on with animal focused organizations.
