Channel-Based Acupuncture 101

with Michael Lium Hall, May 29-30, 2021

Course Information

Channel-based acupuncture is a very old and traditional system of applied acupuncture that is simple to understand, safe to apply, and very effective. Understanding the foundations of this method can greatly increase your understanding of how acupuncture works, help you create simple yet
effective treatment strategies, and teach you how to achieve positive and lasting results for your patients. Regardless of how you choose to practice, these methods will enhance your understanding and practice of acupuncture.

In this 2-day workshop students will:

  • Review the foundations of channel-based theory, mirroring and imaging,
and micro-systems – why do you put that needle there?
  • Learn how to create simple yet effective point prescriptions for a wide
variety of health concerns that practitioners commonly see in their
    clinics.
  • Develop effective treatment strategies for applying these techniques.
  • Practice creating channel-based treatment plans.
  • Observe and practice giving and receiving channel based treatments.
