with Dr. Eran Even, October 26-27, 2024

Workshop Information

Objective of the class will be to introduce students to the rich and clinically relevant world of Classic Formulas/Methods. This class over 2 days will take a dive deep into Jīngfāng 經方 studies through the exploration and analysis of the Shānghán Lùn 傷寒論, Jīnguì Yàolüè 金匱要略, and the teachings of Professor Huáng Huáng 黄煌.

These classes will be heavily steeped in the Classical Chinese Medical tradition. They are engaging, thought provoking, and clinically relevant, as Eran’s mission is to bring the classics to life, making them applicable in the modern clinic. Classes are based on Eran’s extensive years of Chinese medical studies, rigorous textual research, translation work, clinical experience, and intensive apprenticeship with his esteemed teacher, Professor Huáng Huáng 黄煌, of the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine. These courses aim to impart a clear, concise, and deep understanding of the medical classics. Their purpose is twofold: first, to underscore the significance of revisiting these foundational texts to unlock the immense potential of this medicine, and second, to enhance participants’ overall clinical effectiveness.

Subjects covered will include:
