Day 2 – Using Medical Cannabis

Workshop Instructor
Josh Franklin completed his studies in Herbal Medicine at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, B.C. in 2019 where he was awarded a Diploma in Phytotherapy. Upon completing his studies, he began the Masters of Science in Health, Wellbeing, and Sustainability through the University of Central Lancashire, UK. Josh completed his triple dissertation in January of 2023 where he wrote about the complexities of consultations and why they deserve further exploration. He has also taken extra-curricular studies in Aromatic Medicine for Internal Use, Traditional Western Diagnosis, and Oncology.
In 2020 Josh began to practice as an herbalist where he saw patients through online consultations. For his own practice and personal interest, he loves to harvest and dry plants/fungi, create herbal oils, and produce high quality extracts. Josh takes particular interests in complex pathologies. At this time, he continues to work with current patients but his focus has shifted to focus more on completing his studies and the recent introduction into the world of teaching.
Josh has a lifelong passion for the outdoors, exercise and sport, food, cooking, reading, and learning more each day.
