Qi beauty Intensive Practitioner Training

with Kathy Pedersen , September 12-13, 2015

Course Information

Practitioners will learn the skills to competently deliver Qi beauty treatments for anti-aging and various skin conditions using a variety of protocols. This workshop offers hands-on experience with practitioners performing multiple facials throughout the two days to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the theory and techniques.

Introduction, live demonstration and practitioner performance of techniques using static magnetic fields within an acupuncture point matrix to provide a range of treatments for anti-aging
The Qi beauty training offers practitioners detailed protocols based on successful clinical methods of natural anti-aging techniques developed by cosmetologist and International trainer Kathy Pedersen (Founder) since 2006. Qi beauty uses gauss specific, gold-plated magnetic stimulators to offer natural, needle free treatments. The course begins with an explanation of the science behind the Qi beauty techniques including the role of bioregulatory and regenerative effects of Static Magnetic Fields (SMF) and how to use science based techniques to deliver a variety of anti-aging treatments. Kathy provides live demonstration and explanation of techniques using gauss specific magnetic spheres to direct qi into facial lines to add volume and lift. She prepares practitioners for performance of treatments throughout the two days.

Understanding of the role of skin flora and techniques to stimulate pathways to alkalization of human skin
This day includes practical practitioner performance of adaptation protocols for detoxification and drainage treatments. Practitioners discover how SMFs are designed to influence the arrangement of lipids in sub dermal layers to pull collagen and elastin upwards and use this knowledge to direct the flow of qi and personalise treatments. Kathy includes an exploration of case studies including clinical trial evidence to effectively communicate the scope of the Qi beauty techniques to provide an adjunct to natural therapy treatments for Bells Palsy, psoriasis, scarring, dermatitis and facial paralysis. Practitioners learn how to adapt and design treatment protocols and personalise treatments for sensitive skin, acne, inflammatory skin conditions and premature aging.

Upon completion of this course practitioners will receive a Certificate of Attendance and Fulfillment of the Qi beauty Anti-Age Course requirements. Certification is recognition of qualification as a Qi beauty Practitioner. Practitioners will leave with the skills to add Qi beauty to their existing practice immediately and offer personalised treatments for the following:
– Anti-ageing
– Pigmentation
– Broken Capillaries
– Premature Aging
– Sensitive Skin
– Volume Loss
– Heavy Jowls

Practitioners will receive the Qi beauty user manual outlining protocols and certification as a Qi beauty Practitioner with on- going Technical Support.

Course Instructor

Kathy Pedersen (Dip. Cos) founded Qi beauty International in 2006 after three years of research and clinical trials to determine the bio-regulatory and regenerative effects of using a Static Magnetic Fields (SMF) to initiate natural cosmetic rejuvenation.

Kathy’s research into SMFs started in 2003 in her natural healthcare clinic in Australia where she conducted clinical trials to develop and perfect methods to assist in the repair of facial scarring, broken capillaries, pigmentation and premature aging. Driven by the desire to create a safe, natural, and authentic anti-aging system, Kathy worked with women suffering from conditions associated with invasive cosmetic procedures and inflammatory responses. Results culminated in Qi beauty Bringing Skin to Life, published in 2009. Kathy has developed successful methods to deliver regenerative, anti-aging treatments by combining the science of SMFs with TCM theory. Further study into the bio-regulatory effects of SMF include Qi beauty and Nicotine Exposure (2009) Neutralizing Toxic Skin Factors (2010) and The Recovery Potential of Skin (2013).

The language of Qi beauty reflects the TCM roots of the company’s philosophy. Techniques such as ‘anchoring’ and ‘bridging’ instantly attracted practitioners with a background in TCM; Acupuncturists, Registered TCM practitioners and Naturopaths, were the first group of certified Qi beauty Practitioners in Canada. In Australia, ongoing clinical trials continue to provide advanced matrix adaptation and modification techniques to treat inflammatory skin conditions using SMF techniques. Kathy’s ongoing research into the manipulation of the Stratum Corneum in an Acupuncture point matrix uncovers the unexplored potential of non invasive, needle free techniques of regenerative anti-aging.
