In this weekend workshop you will learn how to use nutrition, supplements, lab results, lifestyle and ancestral wisdom to support healthy levels of hormones that are essential to women’s health.

DAY 1: “WHY”: Why does female hormone imbalance exist ? Discussions include:

How to identify the key drivers and symptoms of female hormone imbalance

The relationship between the gut, brain, thyroid, adrenals and ovaries

The effects of chronic stress on female hormones

Effects of gut inflammation on hormones

Effects of diet on hormones

Day 2: “HOW”: How can we support hormonal imbalance with nourishing foods, supplements, herbs, homeopathic remedies, lifestyle and ancestral wisdom.

Learn ancestral and energy shifting activities that raise vibrations and increase healing potential

Learn body movements, stretches, breathing, ceremony, sounding, and meditation practices to create a synchronized flow of hormones

Learn the nutrient needs to prepare for powerful windows of the feminine cycles and psyche: Menstruation, Perimenopause and Menopause

The supportive role of bio-identical hormones, supplements, and herbs for healthy menstruation, peri-menopause and menopause

Case study reviews + therapeutics: PCOS and Perimenopause using a DUTCH test. ( Dried Urine Test Comprehensive Hormones)

Learn how touse the DUTCH test and other lab results as tools for creating an individualized nutrition program. Lab results will be interpreted using The DUTCH and blood markers.

Workshop Instructor

Marla Samuel, DNM, MSc, Nutrition, BAPsych, RNCP, DipHom, CFMP, has been supporting and guiding clients with digestive and hormonal concerns for over twenty years, providing individualized nutritional, herbal, and lifestyle support.  

Marla has taught nutrition, homeopathy, and various science courses at George Brown College, The Institute of Holistic Nutrition, The Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine, and developed numerous workshops. Marla continues to share her passion for teaching digestive and hormone health through her online course business, supporting professional practitioners and clients.

Marla is a frequent webinar presenter for nutrition associations, community and corporate events, raising awareness of how we can create more joyful moments by living a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Marla is a Board Certified Doctor of Natural Medicine, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Health Empowerment Coach, and trained Homeopath.

Regular – $325 (Early Bird – $300, until September 1)
Students* – $300 (Early Bird – $275, until September 1)
PRC Alumni – $310 (Early Bird – $285, until September 1)

*PRC diploma students will receive 1 NU academic credit for this workshop.

Withdrawal Policy

For workshop withdrawals submitted in writing 30 days or more before the start of the workshop, registrants will receive a full tuition refund less a $40 non-refundable registration fee.  For workshop withdrawals submitted in writing more than 14 days but less than 30 days before the start of the workshop, registrants will receive a 50% tuition refund.  Without exception, no refunds will be given for withdrawals less than 14 days before the start of the workshop.
